The Team
Ivan Kuznetsov
- Managing Partner
Ivan is the former head of Iberia and Cyprus at Bain Capital Special Situations, having invested c. €1 billion of capital in real estate transactions across Europe.
Before Bain Capital, Ivan worked at Blackstone and graduated top of his year from the University of Cambridge and holds an MBA from Wharton.
Manuel Gonçalves
- Principal
Manuel joins PCG with nearly a decade of real estate investing experience working at Apollo, Lone Star and Deloitte, with a focus on asset backed transactions and special situations.
Manuel holds a BSc in Economics and MSc in Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics.

João Ferreira Marques
- Senior Advisor
João is currently a partner at ActiveCap, a mid-market PE Investor and senior advisor to Bain Capital and active real estate investor. Previously co-founder and CIO at Whitestar (the largest and most successful special servicer in Portugal) and MD at Arrow Global. ~30 years of experience across investment banking, rating agencies and investment firms such as ABN Amro, RBS, Fitch Ratings, DBRS, Arrow Global.
João holds a BA in Economics from University of Lisbon, a Masters in Economics from Manchester Business School and an AMP degree from INSEAD.
José Covas
- Senior Advisor
José joins PCG with over 25 years of real estate experience, including as head of valuations and advisory for Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield and Aura REE for both Spain and Portugal. José is on the Internation Valuations Standards Council and President of RICS PT.
José holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from ISEG in Lisbon and a Master in Real Estate Finance from ISCTE.
Fabio Longo
- Senior Advisor
Fabio joins the PCG advisory board with more than 20 years of finance and real estate investment experience at various blue chip investment firms, including Apollo and Bain Capital Credit, where he was head of the European investment Team for Credit and Real Estate.
Fabio holds a Master in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
William Kay
- Senior Advisor
Bill joins PCG with over two decades of experience in real estate and credit investing, having held senior roles at Lubert-Adler, Apollo Global Management, and Morgan Stanley, with a focus on real estate-backed credit and special situations.
Bill holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University
